HOW TO GET A VISA FOR VIETNAM ONLINE

Foreign nationals who meet Vietnam's E-Visa requirements can apply online in 3 steps:

1. Fill out the Vietnam e-Visa application form

2. Review and confirm payment of visa fees

3. Receive your approved visa via e-mail

Applicants do not need to visit the Vietnam Embassy at any point. The application is 100% online. They receive the approved visa by email, which they should print out and carry with them when traveling to Vietnam.

All eligible passport holders need to apply for an eVisa to enter Vietnam, including minors. Parents or guardians can complete the visa application on behalf of a child.

COMPLETING THE VIETNAM E-VISA APPLICATION FORM

Eligible travelers must fill out the Vietnam E-Visa application form with their personal details and passport information. The applicant must also specify their country of origin and an estimated date of entry.

Travelers must provide the following details when filling out the Vietnam E-Visa application form:

Given name and surname
Date and place of birth
Passport number
Passport issue and expiration date
Email address
Mobile phone number
Current Adress

The applicant is also required to answer a series of security questions and pay the E-Visa fee before submitting the application for the Vietnam E-Visa. Passengers with dual nationality have to use the same passport to complete the E-Visa application and travel to Vietnam.

The traveler’s passport must be valid for at least 60 days beyond the duration of the stay. Foreigners who are eligible for a 90-day visa need to apply with a passport valid for a minimum of 150 days.

Applicants receive all notifications and the approved visa by email.

Countries across Northern America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania are eligible for Vietnam’s electronic visa.

Depending on the applicant’s nationality, they may apply online for either:

30-day single-entry visa
90-day multiple-entry visa online

The Vietnam E-Visa application will only take a few minutes to complete. Applicants can complete the electronic form from home or the office.

There are 2 different Vietnam visa processing options:

Normal: Vietnam visa application is processed in 24 hours.
Priority: Vietnam visa application is processed in 1 hour.
