There is no need to show a visa if visitors hold Certificates of Visa Exemption. 5 years or up to 6 months is the duration that a Certificate of Visa Exemption takes effect. All Vietnamese residing abroad or their spouses are also able to comply with these regulations. 

People can benefit from this Vietnam visa policy during 180 consecutive days of stay. If they would like to get an extension for further 180 days, it is acceptable. Travelers can enter or exit any interesting places in this exemption period.
