• Foreign passport holder are exempt from visa requirements for Phu Quoc Island within 30 days. Besides, if they transit through other Vietnam international airports before arriving in Phu Quoc, they are still eligible for the exemption.

• APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) holders with valid passports are eligible for Vietnam visa exemption requirements for a stay of at most 60 days.

• Travelers visiting Vietnam with a visa exemption can exit the country right after the exemption period ends and return immediately for another exemption. There is no Vietnam visa exemption cost.

Vietnam Visa Exemption for coastal economic zones

People who are eligible for the 30-day visa exemption are allowed to enter the coastal economic zones decided by the Government when the zones meet the following conditions:

• Be equipped with an international airport,

• Have their own space;

• Have defined geographical boundaries and located separately from the mainland;
